You can't afford to be an amateur in biology and medicine nowadays. Most doctors are severely overworked and can't bother looking into your case properly. Not just that, but have you ever went to University? Notice how low the passing grade is? Notice how poor the understanding other people around you have is?

It is not that different in med school. Not just that, but medical education is horrible and forces students to learn a lot of useless shit.



There are also countless conflicts of interest. Go to a dentist - when will they get the most money - if they find there's nothing wrong with you, or if you need 50 fillings?

So if you're tired of getting prescribed antidepressants for headaches and other useless shit, get educated.

My advice -

1. Read Campbell biology - at 30 pages a day (~4 hours), only a couple months of work.
2. Place more focus on fundamental zoomed-out principles (adaptation, evolutionary shit) (TODO describe)
3. Avoid hypochondria, learn psychological biases

I've always wanted to make my own tutorial series about biology and chemistry, but whether that ever comes to fruition depends on all the other shit I gotta do.
Aspirin is the ultimate drug (?)
